About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager – Engineering to take end-to-end ownership of design and engineering execution for our manufacturing operations.
This role is critical in ensuring that all products are manufacturable, cost-effective, standardised, and production-ready, while leading a team of engineers and working closely with production and product design teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own complete mechanical design output for existing and new products
Ensure timely release of drawings, BOMs, part codes, and revisions
Drive cost reduction through engineering (VA/VE, part reduction, process simplification)
Lead and mentor a team of design/engineering professionals
Ensure designs are aligned to fabrication, welding, and assembly processes
Enforce engineering change control and documentation discipline
Work closely with production, product design, and sales teams to ensure smooth execution
What We’re Looking For
BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
10–14 years of experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment
Strong exposure to fabricated / welded / sheet-metal products
Hands-on experience with CAD tools (Fusion360 Preferred) (SolidWorks / Creo / similar)
Strong DFM/DFA mindset with a focus on cost and manufacturability
Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers
Practical, factory-oriented approach (not purely desk-based design)
